The multi-week approach minimizes interference with daily responsibilities and maximizes creativity, while the intensive one week version is focused and works well with major construction and government projects. The session moves through the following phases:

Deliverable: The team prepares and presents a list of verified potential projects that contribute to an innovative solution and corresponding reduction in total unit cost.
Consolidation: The team output is distilled into a usable format published as a final report that documents all ideas generated for future reference and presents each team’s evaluated recommendations in Excel spreadsheet format.
Project Management tracking - Additionally we offer Project Management documentation service. Once the final report has been reviewed and the high potential projects approved to proceed, these projects are developed in Gant chart format using MS Project to provide you with a realistic road map of the steps necessary to insure timely implementation. We can continue to track each project to implementation to insure your efforts reach the bottom line.

High Creative Value Engineering Session

Application: New/Existing Product / Project study
This session takes the Classical Value Engineering Session and inserts a break into theschedule between the Function Analysis and the Creative Phase. This has several benefits, the most important of which is allowing for the incubation of real creative solutions to be generated. The difference can be the development of real innovative ideas and solutions vs recycling the same old cost reduction ideas. The other benefit is found in a session schedule that is less intrusive for the participants.

Value Based Design Charrette

Application: Major Building Project
Application of Value Engineering to the intense early stage Architectural Design Forum (Charrette). This combines early stage project definition with the Value Engineering process to achieve maximum value, foster collaboration, and accelerate the project definition phase. Why wait until the design has solidified to run the VE session? When utilized at the concept development stage of project development, Value Engineering can have the maximum effect with the minimal disruption. This is construction VE at it's most effective point of application and specifically complements the Design-Build method of project delivery.
